stuff to think about

feelings

have you ever tried to feel happy without calling it happiness...?
can you feel sad without calling it sadness?
without remembering all the times you've cried in the past?

when you experience an emotion without immediately labeling it,
you feel it as though you're feeling it for the first time, and you don't push it away.
the same goes for fear, sadness, joy, any emotion.
even boredom, ESPECIALLY boredom!

thoughts

your thoughts might feel like they're you,
it might feel like you're the one thinking them,
but it's not.

it's just the feeling that comes after the thought appears...
AFTER you start to believe them.

stoicism

you are not your thoughts, you are the observer, the conciousness.
stop thinking "i am happy", "i am sad", "i am angry".
it makes you attatched to something that isn't even you.

do not be attatched to your emotions, conquer your mind.
to conquer your mind, you need to distance yourself from your mind
you do that by simply taking a step back and observing.
